How does one begin a new blog when it appears that blogging has had its day? People seem to prefer short and snappy posts and videos and maybe podcasts (if they're really entertaining). Does anyone even read articles longer than a paragraph or two? I made a TikTok video once and I felt so awkward and old that within a day or two I surreptitiously deleted it. And no one noticed. Don't take me wrong- I like watching TikTok - mostly Shih Tzu accounts or videos of gorgeous country homes, but lately I've been reading surprisingly still-active accounts from a blogroll I used to enjoy. Thank you to those of you who survived the last few years of COVID induced despair. I'm going to try to keep up with your daily writing and hopefully I will draw some inspiration from your words and photos.
